I think this is the first thing I’m really doing for myself. My mother straight out said no to it, but I know I’m doing the right thing for myself. if I let it go any further I’ll end up in jail, or lose my fiancee, possibly OD, and I could .seriously fuck up my future kids. If I were to become pregnant, I don’t think I’d be able to quit the pills and booze for the duration of the pregnancy.

if anyone notices I’m gone, I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth. I should be there for about a month and I’m really hoping that I come out clean. it’s also my first time flying alone, so yeah. wish me luck.

my mom is deadset against it; I made all the arrangements myself. I got to know the help desk woman pretty well haha. I know she’ll warm up to it though.

I’m there to treat my alcohol and pill issues. I drink whatever I can get my hands on (vanilla extract, listerine, cooking wine, almost anything with alcohol in it) and I’ve been stealing the same medications from my family (klonopin, xanax, benzos, some painkillers) for at least five years now. My benzo tolerance is through the roof. I can take 8mg of klonopin and barely feel high, plus I always try to mix the two. I’ve just lost control at this point and I’m way past any sort of AA/NA meetings or individual counseling.

also, the normal charge for the facility is ~$16,000 but my insurance is paying for just under $15,000 of it \m/
